Josh Beckett moves to 7-0
Beckett and the Sox topped the Blue Jays last night 9-2. In doing so Beckett became the first Red Sox pitcher since Mickey Harris (1946) to win his first seven starts.
An anonymous AL scout on Beckett last night;
"Boy, he really recovered. That was so impressive. He's a bulldog. Once he had that big lead, he wasn't going to be denied. He finished off the job. He's the best pitcher in our league right now. And I wouldn't have said that about him last year."
