A Hurricanes hits the New York times

The Dublin City Hurricanes (click for a larger image)

The Dublin Hurricanes feature in a really nice piece by New York times journalist Jack Curry in yesterdays New York times sports section. The article concentrates on our Japanese players Kaz and Daisuke who have brought allot of colour, energy and skill to this years Hurricanes team.

Great weekend for the Hurricanes, first they secure their first win of the 2007 season to get their season kick started, then they celebrate Hurricane's legend Carlos Melleseca's birthday in the city Saturday night and Sunday they end up in the esteemed New York Times. Good times all round. Many thanks to Jack Curry for the fine article.
