Here come the Yankees!

Mr April self destructing faster than a speeding bullet, prized pitching prospect Phillip Hughes on the shelf potentially until August, Jason Giambi out for weeks with a foot injury (foot injury? really? You take steroids with your foot now?) and their million dollar saviour isn't even pitching this weekend. Not exactly what you call 'good times' in the Bronx.

Having said that, should be a great weekend series.

Just in case you are worried the Re Sox aren't taking this scintillating series seriously, check out what the Captain, Jason Varitek had to say about it;

"Take the lead and throw it out the window. It's another series for us and it is the Yankees, and the hype will never change."

Buckle up and here we go...altogether now..
'Where is Roger?' *clap clap, clap clap clap*
'Where is Roger?' *clap clap, clap clap clap*
'In Chicago!' *clap clap, clap clap clap*
'In Chicago!' *clap clap, clap clap clap*

God I love this game.

According to fans at Wrigley today, the Cubs are almost as bad as the Yankees.

Clemens has been scratched from the line up for Monday in Chicago. "fatigued right groin" being the reason. I call it "gettin' pounded by the Red Sox" fatigue
