Friendly wagers: 1-0, to the Arsenal

Well, the first 'tip' I chose to throw at you Chug Monkeys hasn't started so well, but there is still plenty of time for the Saints to turn it around and get absolutely murdered by the Patriots in the Superbowl.

Meanwhile, moving along. Another suggestion to those of you who like to practice the fine art of gambling. Now, this isn't a 'lock', or a 'put your mortage on this', however, it's a pretty decent 'value' bet, again, for those of you so inclined.

Arsenal take on Reading tonight in the English Premiership, and some bookies are giving as high as 6-4 on Arsenal with the handicap, -1 goal. This means Arsenal have to win by a clear goal, ie: 2-0, 3-1 or 7-0. The way Reading are playing lately, the latter could be a realistic possibility. Whatever about the general gap in class between these two sides, Reading have lost some players to injury while both Cesc Fabregas and Alexander Hleb come back into Arsenal's side having had a week long rest. Smells like tr9uble for likeable but hugely over-matched Reading.

Cesc Fabregas - Worlds best footballer as we speak

So the tip, Arsenal -1 to beat Reading tonight!

Take it to the bank, baby

Cesc has been incredible in midfield this year. I'd take him over Messi at this point

Cormac said...

Cesc is a complete footballer, Messi is not, he wouldn't know a tackle if it came up, introduced itself and bought him coffee..

Hah! That's the best Messi comment I've ever read.
