Don't ever pay to hear Tony Romo sing

Those Cubs fans are merciless!

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field Sunday before the Cubs-Diamondbacks game, and he was roundly booed. Later on in the game he reappeared to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and got booed even worse.

Why was he there in the first place? Romo grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin, 75 miles from Chicago, and he played at Eastern Illinois, and he's apparently a Cubs fan.

However, seeing as:
  • A: He plays for the Dallas Cowboys
  • B: He can not sing at all

He was always going to hear the boos rain down. Perhaps not quite so heavily though!
