Irish baseball - playoff time

The Irish baseball league playoffs kick off this weekend at the magnificent O'Malley baseball fields in Corcaigh Park, Newlands Cross.
The final top four of the Irish league were as follows

1. The Spartans
2. The Dublin Hurricanes
3. The Blacksox
4. The Greystones Mariners

The Irish league playoff format means this weekend the Spartans play the Hurricanes, and the winner goes directly to the final. The loser of that game plays the winner of the Blacksox/Greystones game, and the winner of that game makes the final also.

This Saturday the Hurricanes play the Spartans at 11 am. The 'Baby Canes', the Hurricanes 'B' league team, finished top of the Irish 'B' league and play the second place Greystones Mariners in a winner takes all final on September 21st at 2pm, at the O'Malley Fields.

Game 1: 11am Spartans V Hurricanes (Spartans home team)
Game 2: 2pm Black Sox V Mariners (Sox home team)

Sunday 21st September
O'Malley baseball fields in Corcaigh Park, Newlands Cross
11am: Loser of Game 1 V Winner of Game 2 (Game 1 is home)
2pm: 'B' League finals game - Hurricanes B V Mariners B

Saturday 27th September
O'Malley baseball fields in Corcaigh Park, Newlands Cross
'A' league finals games 1 & 2

Saturday 4th October
'A' game final game 3 (if required)
