The Million Man Manny March - well, 50 man anyway...

Mets fans in New York have recently mobilised to start a 'Million Man manny March', hoping to sweep all before them and force the Mets front office to dive right in and sign Manny for whatever Manny wants.

Whilst not exactly meeting their lofty name in terms of numerical turnout, at least a total of 65 Mets fans over the course of two outings turned up to demand the Mets take action, like, now!

Impressive stuff.

No doubt Omar 'I have never seen a Hispanic Free Agent I didn't like' Minaya will be scrambling for his check book, embiggended with the spirit of the 65 Mets fans. ''How much, Manny? $25 million? $30 million? Name your price!''

''Holding up the other end of Medina’s sign was Cliff Korn, 38, of Manhattan, who said the acquisition still could happen even though Minaya has ruled it out.''

Wait a second, why isn't this guy at work? Actually, don't answer that.

Mets fans: You are better than them
