...is that glass half full?

Just slightly over a week ago there were many citizens of Red Sox nation freaking out at the Sox dropping a few games and languishing in second place behind the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Esteemed Boston Globe journalists were openly questioning certain Red Sox players ability to play the game of baseball. Red Sox bloggers were demanding changes up and down the lineup. ESPN was basically holding the coronation for the Rays on the basis of a little lead in the AL East.

And yet, here we are, a week later, with Boston back on top of the AL East, just like that.

Can we all do something, as Red Sox fans, next time Boston lose a game, or two in a row, or even five in a row. Can we all just take the Jeremy Grey school of thought on this? Less of pushing the panic button like crazy.

Jeremy Grey: That's interesting John, that glass looks half full to me.
John Beckwith
: Wow, now that you mention it, it is half full!

If you need help with that here is ten reasons you should be taking the 'glass half full' approach to the Red Sox '08 season right now.

Now, what's all this fuss about an all star game or something?!

In your other post, you wrote:

"They are only four games out in the AL East, which means they are one bad Tampa streak away from the top of the table."

Bingo!
