This has been a truly historic week for not only Irish boxing, but also Irish Olympic history. Did you know, for example, that Paddy Barnes is the first Irish man to win a medal in two Olympics? Well, you do now! Obviously the name on everyone's lips is Katie Taylor. What an incredible Olympic 'run' she has given us all. This week I published four Irish Olympic boxing stories on my column in Irish Central. Maybe if you have a couple of minutes you can drop by and check one or two of them out.
Big week for Irish boxing, hopefully the good vibes can continue tonight and into the weekend, best of luck today to the three lads in action!
