Fenway Sports Group, Notre Dame v Navy and 'word on the tweet' - catching up on some freelancing work
Lots to catch up on in the world of this freelancing sports writer!
Notre Dame and Navy descended on Dublin this weekend passed, and one clown writing for Yahoo had the temerity to say American Football is not popular in Europe. We set him straight, naturally.
Fenway Sports Group is coming under a barrage of criticism from both MLB and soccer fans, we went to some lengths so defend them from some of the more erroneous arguments against their dual roles in baseball and soccer.
'Word on the tweet' is a weekly humorous take on the various and numerous Twitter accounts of the top soccer stars, posted on the BetDash blog on Fridays going forward. Here's the first one, and the tweets are pretty funny, whatever about the associated comments!
Check out the three below if you have a couple of minutes to spare. Thanks.
